 Nov 23, 2005 The U.P. Economics Society (Ecosoc) is a socio-civic student organization based in the University of the Philippines School of Economics. Today, it is one of the largest, most prestigious, and most respected organizations in U.P. Diliman. Since 1958, it has actively promoted its socio-civic cause in and outside the university via its many endeavors -- most notably, the Economics Society Scholarship Fund (ESSF), which helps select scholars make it through high school. Ecosoc has produced hundreds of alumni, many of whom continue to promote its socio-civic cause and uphold SERVICE, EXCELLENCE, and TRADITION in their chosen fields.
